In order for you to become a part of the LKW WALTER fleet as a partner, your vehicles must meet the following requirements:

• Tractor unit with Euro 5 or later engine class
• Standard trailer (L/W/H): min. 13.60 m / 2.45 m / 2.60 m
• Mega trailer (L/W/H): min. 13.60 m / 2.45 m / 3.00 m
• min. 33 Euro pallet spaces and 25to load capacity
• Telematics GPS positioning system (can be optionally obtained through LKW WALTER)

We also use jumbos, road trains, thermo trailers and box trailers on selected routes.

In order to become a trucking partner with our cranable trailers, your vehicles must meet the following requirements:

• Tractor unit with Euro 5 or later engine class
• Fulfilment of the legal requirements for national trailer trucking
• Telematics GPS positioning system (can be optionally obtained through LKW WALTER)
• Personal protection equipment (PPE) for the drivers

YES! The sister company WALTER LEASING offers you new and used tractor units from renowned manufacturers (e.g. Krone, Schmitz, Kögel, Schwarzmüller or Volvo, DAF, Mercedes Benz, Scania, MAN) on a leasing/hire purchase basis.

Protective equipment consists of:

Each driver must have personal protective equipment (PPE) with him and use it when instructed.

Yes! The driver plays an important role in the customer's impression of our service. Only with the help of the drivers will we manage to keep our customers satisfied. This will also allow us to secure long-term orders.

The LKW WALTER driver training program is based on the LKW WALTER Driver Handbook and covers all the fundamental service requirements of our customers as well as basic information for safe and environmentally-friendly driving and maneouvering of trucks. In addition, LKW WALTER organises practical driver information days in various European countries.

The safety of drivers is our number 1 priority at LKW WALTER! For this reason, LKW WALTER began to develop its SHEQ management (Safety/Security, Health, Environment and Quality), as early as the 1990s, in order to ensure the highest safety standards in the transport process.

To start the payment as quickly and easily as possible for you, we use a credit note process. For this, we need the freight documents, which you send to us via LOADS TODAY. We then promptly generate the credit note and send the credit note document to you via e-mail. At the same time, the term of payment will commence. If we need the original documents, please send them to us by post. In addition, you will receive a barcode from us.

As soon as you have received the first order, you will become acquainted with your personal contact, who will take care of you.
